Steelheading: Week #9 (Since we skipped a week)

Ok...this week the temps bottomed out, and by Saturday morning, the temps had put THICK slush onto the rivers. Beyond that, temps didn't go a step above 27 degrees...which means only more ice formed....

I slept and saved myself from the frustration of flies floating down river on a slush-burg...

Rumor had it that the fish had been willing before the slush set though...eggs for river fish, and streamers taking fresh chrome...

Also, important to note that there have been ALOT more fish running in the local waters...some have reported double digit days in the lower river...

This afternoon, instead of hitting the river, I hit the bench...

A little messy, but I did manage to find some eggs, stones, and the good old Crystal Meth...

A chance Schmidt maybe joining next weekend if the rivers open up...hopefully it's game on...
