With the big pack on for ME, I didn't have time to get them on sooner...but here you go...
An Andrew & Amy Rendezvous in Williamsport PA...
Williamsport in August is home to the Little League World Series...
And we know that the bars in PA love us fishermen...and fisherwomen...
Amy's laugh of the weekend...
And yes, we've been to the end of the world...and it's actually gorgeous...
Amy's Overlook...
Gorgeous river...hardly any access...
Hard to tell, but a bald eagle flew overhead while I was fishing...
Soon after, this little guy grabbed the Cahill I had on the end of my line...
The tough decision...dry fly water downstream...
Nymphing riffles upstream...
Overall a great weekend. Not much fishing, but I did manage a fish, and I was happy. Williamsport was alot of fun, with some good local food and beer. A definite must see...
Anyways, this will be it for a while...I'm off to MAINE for a week starting Friday...
Plans to stay in Bar Harbor and take a few road trips...many pictures to come....
In the meantime, we'll leave you with a video from Flies and Fins on what else...
"I fish better with a lit cigar; some people fish better with talent." ~Nick Lyons, Bright Rivers, 1977
Fished (and had a cigar) with great fly flinger yesterday, Pete. Last minute trip, but these two New Englanders were able to coax some decent sized bass in with some surface action...
More on Pete and his past on the Cape coming soon...
For now, we prepare to travel to the middle of PA for a last minute trip to meet Mrs. Trouter...and yes the 3 weight and 5 weight are in the car...

"Damn the justices of the Supreme Court who voted in favor this ruling (Roberts, Alito, Thomas, Scalia, Breyer and Kennedy); a ruling which undermines the very type of thing that the Clean Water Act was intended to outlaw. Far beyond merely the Bristol Bay issue, however (as if that isn’t bad enough), this ruling opens the doors to a potentially devastating amount of impact to our watersheds wherever mining activity occurs." "This is classic Sarah Palin, the mixture of the personal and political," says Michael Carey, an Anchorage talk show host. "It's all done ad hoc. There's no strategic plan. It's, 'This is what I'm going to do, baby. Here we go,' "
