Weekly Update

Well the week was a bit slow with the fishing…but the changing of seasons (both climate and fishing) is upon us…

Did one mid week bass trip with Conklin, but were unable to coax any of the larger ladies in the lake to take. We did manage a mixed bag of bass, rock bass, pumpkinseeds, crappie, and perch…

We do have some solid reports of steelies starting to gather at some of the smaller creek mouths, and a few running into some of the larger rivers…

The season is upon us…

Sink Or Swim...

An article from Ted William’s Conservation Blog telling about the proposed ban on using led for fishing tackle…

“Exactly what I’d expect from the More-Dead-Fish-For-Me crowd. Gawd forbid that they try non-toxics. I use them all the time for my non-fly-fishing, and there is no difference in price or performance.”

-Ted Williams
